Chiptec, LLC is a certified small business manufacturing company located in Decatur, Alabama 25 miles from the United States Army’s Redstone Arsenal with close proximity to major interstate highways, inter-modal and air transport infrastructure.

We pride ourselves in our Precision Machine Work that we have been doing for more than 25 years. Chiptec is a diverse company with a history of commercial and military related work. We take great pride in our 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility which houses some of the finest CNC machinery available. Chiptec also offers Water Jet Cutting Services as well as Laser Etching to enhance our ability to meet both current and future customer’s needs.

We are proud of the clean, safe working environment we are able to provide for our production team members. Central coolant, chip recovery, and mist collection systems allow us to operate in a clean and economical manner. We believe in the practice of 5 S and our shop layout encourages efficiency by optimizing material flows and space utilization therefore minimizing waste. These practices lead to improved lean manufacturing.

We recognize the importance of our equipment and facilities but our team of employees is the key to the success of Chiptec.
