History

Chiptec, LLC is a true American success story. In 1984, we began production with one CNC Machine Tool operating out of a garage.  Through hard work and dedicated employees, by the mid 1990’s Chiptec, LLC employed 200 people and owned more than 40 new state of the art CNC machine tools.

In 1994 and again in 1995 Chiptec, LLC was recognized by INC Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately owned companies in America.

Beginning in earnest, in early 2005, due mainly to the down turn in the Automotive Industry, Chiptec, LLC began looking to establish itself in other industries. We still proudly serve the Automotive Industry but have made strong in-roads in the Defense and Aerospace Industries.

In 2009, Chiptec, LLC took on a partner that has helped set the path for new relationships in new industries. Chiptec, LLC is a partnership between the original founder, Terrence McCall and Paul Heflin of Molding Solutions, Lexington, KY.  In Paul we found not only a wonderful new partner but a very strong customer and partner in Molding Solutions.

Chiptec, LLC is very proud of its history and past accomplishments. With new relationships firmly established, we believe the future for Chiptec, LLC is very bright.
